How the thermal sensors in cameras help with performance? The thermal sensors help to reduce 95% motion-detection false alerts caused by trees/light/raindrops etc., making the kit a real SECURITY system rather than surveillance only. Receive App/ email alerts only when people, animals or vehicles detected. How long is the power cord of each camera? Each camera comes with a 12V DC power adapter with 10ft power cord. Search ‘DC power extension cable’ on Amazon if you need some extension. Why the WiFi distance is not as good as you advertised? The WiFi distance is obtained in line of sight. Each wall and the WiFi interference will cut the distance. Go to Network setting – WiFi setting, click ‘Auto Select WiFi channel’ to select a least interfered WiFi channel so the NVR performs its best. If I need more cameras, do I have to add the same cameras only?
