With a closed back design to eliminate debris build-up, this true 14-gauge steel shovel is built to last. The reinforced fiberglass handle is built with triple wall construction that features a reinforced wood core, 25-percent thicker fiberglass and an extended steel ferrule to resist bending. Additional features include a welded rib and I-beam construction that provide extra strength and support to ensure many years of service. All shovels are made of true 14-gauge steel that is up to 30% thicker than competitor models. The round point blade measures 9.25-inches by 11-inches and the long-design handle measures 48.5-inches. 100% American made!
