The Hi pad chair, and accompanying Hi pad Stool, are the result of a production process that represents the perfect balance between technology and artisan craftsmanship: in these pieces, designed by Jasper Morrison, the skills of master upholsterers are combined with innovative techniques which allow for the leather or fabric cover to adhere perfectly to the three-dimensional edge of the padding. The structure of these seats is made of beech plywood, with a fixed cover in the fabrics and leathers from the collection. The base is built of stainless steel with a satined or mattee varnished finish in white, mud or black. The chairs and stools in the Hi pad range have a sober and rigorous design that makes them suitable for use both in residential and contract settings.
