I’m 5’2, 119 lb, 34-29-37. I decided to get the M as other reviewers mentioned this dress is form-fitting. It ended up not fitting me right. The top half and the sleeves and the armpit areas were to big. But from the waist down, it was too snugged. It is a little stretchy but the bottom half kept pulling up, probably due to the top half being too loose. The middle of the back where the zipper is kept bunching up, making me look like I have a spinal deformity. Good thing the dress is lined (except the sleeves). Otherwise, some of you may find the fabric is somewhat rough and scratchy. Overall, I disliked this dress and the $40 price tag was not worth it. In trying on the dress, I noted the upper middle back hook and eye closure and zipper. The fabric of the dress is quite stretchy but that zipper is probably necessary for the snug fit of the dress. It is comprises from a medium-thick fabric perfect for Fall or Winter. The fabric quality and materials construction are quite good – I couldn’t find any wonky seams or anything. This comfortable dress fit me like a glove without shapewear. I like the front detail with the asymmetrical hem and flap design as it updates the dress a little more. I also like the cap sleeves as many of my dresses are tank top-y in nature. There is enough dress detailing such that jewelry and accessories could he minimal. This dress can be worn as its own garment and stand alone or serve as a base piece for layering. I like that I feel like a grown-up in this particular dress but not matronly. It also happens to be quite comfortable and I found myself hanging out in it after taking photos.
