If you do not, I do not recommend buying them. The look is nice and the quality is descent. It does seem like too much money for these shoes. I wish I had a size 7 or at least the size 6.5 available. These shoes fit well (the elastic is more secure than I would expect, they’re.actually kind of difficult to get on) and they seem high quality, and the sole is well cushioned, and they give good traction, and they look cool, and they dry quickly (my dog dumped a bowl full of water on them). So why do I have mixed feelings? The interior of the shoe is uncomfortable without socks! The breathable mesh upper is rough against my feet. It’s not so bad that I won’t wear them sockless, because I’m very lazy – but other brands of “sockless” shoes are made with more comfortable fabrics like eucalyptus or wool, so it’s genuinely fine to wear without socks. Obviously part of the appeal of these is the breathability and quick dry/draining, which is harder to achieve with natural materials. But the water element is meaningless if you have to wear socks with the shoes, because then you’re still walking around in wet socks even if the shoes dry! Anyway. Mildly disappointing. I’m still wearing them every day, but I grimace when I put them on and rejoice when I take them off. If you have a high arch or feet that are a bit higher on top, I might pass on this shoe. Sad as I bought it on kickstarter. The rest of the shoe felt promising, but I haven’t been able to wear it for more than an hour at a time.
