What makes this better than others is you can still have a second battery attached giving you one V-Mount, one Canon, and they are hot swappable. No need to power down the Komodo to change batteries. This lightweight, slim battery plate is smaller than typical V-mount battery plates. Weighing only 247 grams (0.5 lbs), its ergonomic design still allows connection to a normal 15 LWS system. It can be secured to the rods with only one knob. Assembled with a standard V-mount catch, it will accept our new mini V-mount battery or our regular Full Play V-mount batteries. It has built-in P-tap output ports with 14.4V on each port and a maximum of 10 amps output.
