Huge help in run/gun filmmaking and enables me to hold my Blackmagic the way I like to hold it – without a lot of weight on it – and not have to worry about battery life. Location is great to have a battery on the belt, with modern V-Mounts, there’s USB-C out and I can also charge my mobile device in my pocket, too. Just a little warning before yours arrives… View full Review   love it By CHRISTOPHER V. great product save me from having to buy different batteries SmallRig V Mount Battery Plate with Adjustable Arm 2991 utilizing a standard V mount fits most V mount batteries to provide greater battery life for your camera rig with your battery’s power port(s). It comes with a dual 15mm rod clamp with an adjustable arm to help mount the plate to your 15mm LWS rod system and adjust the V mount battery’s position as needed. The plate itself features multiple 1/4-20″ countersinks, M3 countersinks, M4 countersinks, 1/4-20″ thread holes, M4 thread holes, and an ARRI 3/8″ -16 thread hole to attach a dual rod clamp, a magic arm, or other accessories. Two stoppers will prevent the battery from twisting when attached. The plate is also compatible with the Blackmagic URSA mini. Note: • No V-Lock part (male) provided with the plate. • This is purely a mounting solution for a V-mount battery – no power ports on the plate.
