It is a heavier weight than expected. This is a good thing as it makes it less see through and more “body forgiving” than dresses with a super thin cloth. It’s very comfy and in general feels good to wear. The cloth has a bit of a sheen which makes it fit for either casual or somewhat dressier situations. I ordered the rose pink and the top portion of the dress is a shade of super dark navy, I believe, but it is so dark that it may be black, I personally cannot tell, and so I feel like it matches with either color. I wore it with a black belt and thought it looked great. Also, I really feel this dress looks best with a belt btw. I really like the cut and think it hangs really nice. I love that they put the model’s info on their amazon page so one can really know if it will look the same on them. I, being only 5 foot (size small), was worried it might be too long, but I absolutely love the length on me, for a maxi dress. The only thing that I dislike is that it comes packed in such a tight bag that it is riddled with wrinkles and they didn’t all come out even after washing the item. This gradient dress caught my eye. It’s really comfortable to wear (once you figure out which is front and back, no label at the neckline.) I ordered a medium, but there’s enough stretch I probably could have fit easily into a small. The medium still fits quite well, and the gradient purple is really beautiful. The fabric is much like a knit t-shirt fabric, but lighter weight so the drape is pretty. I do wish it had pockets, because I’d probably wear it all the time, but I knew that going into it. It would be a perfect dress if those were added. My one complaint is the seam running down the back of the skirt. It shows a bit white where the dye didn’t get into that seam. I can likely fix it with a few colored sharpie markers, but it was disappointing to have to do that.
